Propaganda Matters: Speck in yo eye

dude… being black is not an ability. IK it’s ironic or whatever but… should’ve left this tee shirt on the press

When we see media reports of some racist person being racist, we first of all know that said alleged racist person being roasted is almost always white.

But that’s a whole other issue.

Black Leaders Who you lookin at?

Point today is: Are we highlighting the alleged racist white person because we’re making an example of them?

“You, out there, observing this media story: Don’t act like this, or you

could lose everything in this world. I’m looking in your direction, white guys.”

Are we pointing them out because offensive behavior shouldn’t be tolerated? But I

thought we were supposed to be tolerant? Tell me who you think should set that standard.

Maybe everyone is protected except white Christian males. Those guys, they’re fair game in all kinds of ways. The rest of us can get protection from somewhere.

Black Americans in 2019 live in a time when black people often are running our places of employment, and the businesses we visit. We’ve seen white people, not being weak necessarily or intimidated, be in situations where any notion of white privilege is just hot air.

They know their place, in the most basic terms. There are more places like that in the United States than there’s ever been. This is pretty widely acknowledged. If I’m in error, please correct.

There is pretty much no occupation barred to black people in America that I know of. Any neighborhood that flat out doesn’t want blacks living there… well, why would you want to force your way into that area, anyhow? And the white man’s Jesus that was forced on black Africans has been well rejected by most black Americans, at the time of this writing.

The black homeboy and black superwoman are free to create their own universes, in so many ways.

Yet we’re still acting horrified by pointed events… instances where someone black, or Hispanic, or Asian, was cut by something a white person did. Then, what do we do?
